Virginia Bibal, a quadriplegic, could walk again. This Tarnaise, who lives near Albi was selected, along with five other French, to participate in a very promising clinical trial to be held in China.
This new medical technique involves taking fat from the patients' abdomen and then working it to stimulate the stem cells that are in it before being reimplanted on the damaged links of their bone marrow.
This clinical trial is organized by the badociation for the paralyzed in France "Neurogel en Marche. However, the organization still lacks € 350,000 to allow French patients to participate. A call for donations has been launched on the badociation's website.
