This year, the front photo sensor tends to be more discreet in smartphones. While waiting to be able to hide it under the screen, the manufacturers imagine various solutions, between slider, mechanism sliding or camera popup.
In Asus, we propose with theAsus ZenFone 6 an ingenious solution using a double rotating photo sensor that folds to become a selfie sensor. This solution could be taken over by the Chinese brand Meitu in a smartphone designed in collaboration with Xiaomi.

A rendering from Chinese social networks shows indeed a smartphone with a triple photo sensor with flash organized in a square but can be folded forward, becoming a photo sensor before.
No details are provided on the characteristics of the triple sensor or on those of the smartphone, but it should logically be particularly effective on selfies.
The acid tones of the rendering already seem to indicate the desire to target a female audience accustomed to social networks. The rotating camera system could therefore be found on several smartphones before the end of the year.
