Anderlecht: Discover the future aldermen of the college

The installation of the municipal council is scheduled for Monday, December 3 at 19h.

The PS section of Anderlecht appointed in an internal vote the representatives who will exercise executive responsibilities in the next legislature. "It was not less than 470 people who spoke in this vote that took place on Friday and Saturday, demonstrating the dynamism of the section and its activists"explains the town in a statement.

In addition to his responsibilities related to the Police and Legal Affairs, mayor Eric Tomas will also manage major events, tourism, heritage and museums. Fabrice Cumps will be alderman of Finance, Education, Crèches and Culture.

Fabienne Miroir, president of the CPAS during the previous legislature, is now in charge of the Civil Status, Population and Senior Citizens Policy.

Mustapha Akouz becomes the new president of CPAS while Guy Wilmart will continue his work as President of the Anderlecht House.

Finally, Lotfi Mostefa is appointed as group leader of the PS-SPA-CDH list to the municipal council.

As a reminder, Eric Tomas plans to give up the torch during the mandate. The future mayor will be chosen by the General Assembly.

As already announced, Ecolo inherits four aldermen. Jérémie Drouart becomes the first alderman and will be in charge of the Modernization of Administration, Participation and Equal Opportunities, Susanne Müller-Hübsch is the new alderman of the Development of the city, including Urban Planning, Works public transport, mobility and parking.

Allan Neuzy inherits the quality of public spaces and the ecological transition including public cleanliness, green spaces and sustainable development, while Nadia Kammachi is the new alderman of urban renewal, sustainable neighborhood contracts, wellbeing animal and Hygiene.

On the side of the SPA, Elke Roex left the Environmental Services and became the new alderman of Education, Dutch-speaking Culture and Economic Development.

Alain Kestemont (Challenge) is in charge of Prevention and Urban Safety, as well as issuance and monitoring of permits.

Mayor Eric Tomas will take an oath in front of Minister-President Rudi Vervoort on Thursday. The installation of the municipal council and the election of the college is scheduled for Monday, December 3 at 19h.
