Anderlecht's new sports director Michael Verschueren on Wednesday condemned the publication of his defender Ognjen Vranjes on Instagram.
The Bosnian published a photo of AEK Athens supporters during the incidents against Ajax Amsterdam on Tuesday night in the Champions League by adding the words "Welcome to hell (Welcome to hell, ed)Vranjes, a former AEK player, has since deleted his post.
"I dissociate myself from this publication and I will have a discussion with him on Friday", launched the sports director who praised the DNA and the spirit of the club.We can not tolerate Vranjes approving hooliganism. He must not interfere in such discussions. In consultation with the management, we will see what measures we will take. A fine may not be enough", he added in the DH.
