The infrastructure manager proposes not to run all trains running at peak times ("P-trains") to and from Brussels. Infrabel is to modernize the equipment south of Brussels-Midi station this autumn. This "essential" work according to Infrabel will require the complete closure of the North-Midi junction during the long weekends of 1st and 11th November. But, to the astonishment of SNCB, major disturbances are also expected from October 14 to November 8. Infrabel must indeed lock no less than 30% of switches before the Brussels-Midi station, which will significantly reduce traffic on the busiest railway axis in the country.
