Doudou in Mons: part of the Grand-Place evacuated following a gas cylinder on fire

Part of the Grand Place Mons was evacuated in the middle of the evening, around 21h. A gas cylinder caught fire near the Grand Place. A person was burned in the face, according to firefighters of Mons. She was transferred to the burn center in Loverval. His days are not in danger. The incident also resulted in five minor injuries.

Firefighters and police quickly set up a security perimeter. The security perimeter set up then encroached on only part of the Grand-Place forcing people coming for the "Doudou" festivities to evacuate the place.
