These are now four regions of metropolitan France which are above the epidemic threshold of gastroenteritis, according to the figures published this Wednesday by the network Sentinelles.
Hauts-de-France and Paca region particularly affected
The most affected region is the Hauts-de-France (267 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).
Between November 19th and 25th, PACA (246 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Grand Est (197 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) and the Pays de la Loire (177 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) also exceeded the epidemic threshold set at 165 cases for 100,000 inhabitants.
