At the time, she had explained to the judges that she was in such pain that she was unable to travel and that she was moving with a cane. Lesley therefore claimed damages of 2.82 million euros, stating that she had thought of suicide. Nevertheless, the case was relaunched recently after she was seen on social networks celebrating in Ibiza, without her cane and obviously mobile. According to "The Sun", images from surveillance cameras also show him vacuuming, walking his dog or carrying his grandson.
Judge Clive Freedman said, "She uses her cane only when she wants financial gain. When we look at her medical record, we can see that she could work for years but she does not do it in her financial interest. Without these images in Ibiza, the harm done to the Public Health Service would have been terrible. "
Lesley now faces two years in jail for contempt, but her lawyer has denied that she may have lied. The trial will continue in January.
