Luc Devroe returned to work after two weeks of vacation in Senegal.
On Saturday he had a long interview with Michael Verschueren, the club's new sports director. On Sunday, he was present in Sint-Truiden, where he was sitting alongside CEO Jo Van Biesbroeck, who separated him from Marc Coucke.
Yesterday, he was back in Neerpede, where he settled in his office as if nothing had happened. Devroe does not intend to resign. If he leaves Anderlecht, Coucke will have to give him his C4 and pay him a starting bonus.
This is not what Coucke intends to do. Devroe's address book can still provide services to Anderlecht. It is also Devroe who, during the visit of Pär Zetterberg during the match between Anderlecht and Lokeren, launched the idea of integrating him into the staff.
Tomorrow, Michael Verschueren will present his "strategy for the sports department"As stated in an official statement, it is likely that Devroe will be badigned another role, possibly in scouting.
