A mbad to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of Johnny Hallyday will be celebrated on December 9 at the Church of the Madeleine in Paris, one year to the day after his funeral in the same building, we learned from the parish. The service will be celebrated by Father Bruno Horaist, pastor of the Madeleine.
Mbad for Johnny Hallyday, who died on December 5, 2017, will be broadcast live on the KTO Catholic channel and on YouTube, says the parish in Paris.
The office will be followed by a musical tribute from 12:30 to 13:00.
According to relatives of Laeticia Hallyday, the widow of the singer and his daughters will be in Saint-Barthélémy, where the singer is buried. The family tribute will take place in the privacy.
On December 5th, the anniversary of the death, Sylvie Vartan will give a concert in Saint-Quentin (Aisne) as part of a tour begun in the spring.
On stage, Johnny's first wife pays homage to him by duet-singing their hit "J'ai un problème", the singer appearing alongside him on video. On November 30, she will release a tribute album entitled "Avec toi" where she takes Johnny's iconic songs.
On December 9, 2017, the funeral of Johnny Hallyday had gathered hundreds of thousands of people in front of the Madeleine for a "popular tribute" in the presence of the President of the Republic, after a parade of 700 bikers accompanying the coffin of the singer on the Champs- Elysées.
