According to information obtained by RTL Tuesday, the next government in power would arrive with two major measures in its cards:

  • An increase in the minimum wage of 100 euros net as of 1 January 2019. A revaluation, precise yet RTL, financed for two thirds by the tax revenues and for a third by the companies.
  • Two days of additional leave per year for private sector workers. The media said that one of these two holidays should correspond to the "Europe Day" which falls each year on May 9th.
