It disseminates information on how to recognize a fraud of this type. Supported by testimonials, he gives advice on how to protect himself and describes what to do if you are the victim of a scam of this type.
The campaign recommends, in case of fraud, to immediately stop all contact and not to react to messages, emails, phone calls; and write down all the available information (name of the profile, phone number or pseudonym on the dating site).
She also advises to report her story on pointdecontact.belgique.be ("friendship fraud" option) and to talk about it around oneself to prevent others from falling into the same trap,
