Each year, more than 1,000 Parisians discover their HIV status. On the occasion of World AIDS Day, every 1st December, Paris renews its commitment to make Paris the city of love without AIDS. This year, the Paris City Hall and the badociation Vers Paris sans sida launch the campaign "The test is in the bag! From November 26th to December 2nd. Nearly 70 awareness and screening events are organized throughout the city!
For this thirtieth World AIDS Day, whose international motto is "Know your status", the City Council and the badociation Vers Paris sans sida, in partnership with the Regional Health Agency, launch the operation "The test is in the bag! "To promote HIV testing. Screening that must be simple, repeated, frequent, trivialized … and, where appropriate, as early as possible.
From November 26 to December 2, pick up your bag of prevention and screening at one of the 70 sensitization and screening events organized throughout the City by more than forty local actors involved. The "Let's Love" bag contains condoms, an HIV test self-test, the Public Health France documentation, a leaflet highlighting the Parisian offer of prevention, screening and badual health, including PrEP and the "undetectable HIV" message. = zero transmission ".
Organized by the badociation Vers Paris sans sida, with the support of the City of Paris, this operation mobilizes some forty structures:

And in order to mobilize all Parisians, take part in «Social challenge» with selfies indicating that you did the self-test.

Every year, more than 1,000 Parisien.ne.s discover their seropositivity.
Statistically, Parisians are 8 times more exposed to HIV than people who live in the rest of France.
In Paris, it's easy to test:

You can also do the test yourself, by buying it in a pharmacy or by recovering it for free during a screening operation.
Free information, screening and diagnostic centers (CeGIDD) exist throughout Paris. They allow anyone to know if they have HIV, hepatitis B or C.
