"You have to have ambition," launches this Wednesday morning on La Première Alda Greoli (CHR) Minister of Health, which this week pbades to the government an "integrated plan of health prevention".
Propose the ban on advertising for alcohol in sport, here in Belgium, where the division 1 football championship is called the "Jupiler Pro League", it seems a challenge. The minister defends "our social responsibility": "The health of the population is everybody's business, says Alda Greoli, And if Jupiler really wondered, as a leader of society, as a leader: what can we do to improve people's health? "
Alda Greoli denies wanting to ban alcohol, but, like (almost) all the inhabitants of the flat country, the Vice-President of the Walloon Governments and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation watched the World Cup and that's what she thought about it: "Tdo you think it is normal that we have been dogged with advertising by two addictive and dangerous phenomena for health: alcohol, via beer, and online games that have consequences, especially on the youngest, in terms of addictions."
This proposal for a measure comes in particular from a recommendation of the High Council of Health of which a report from last May alerted about the risks badociated with alcohol consumption.
