Five persons
were arrested on Saturday night at ERU Brugmann-Paul Brien in Schaerbeek. A clash erupted between several individuals, following a women's football game that degenerated at Neder-Over-Heembeek in the afternoon of 24 November.
Saturday was completely degenerated between two 16-20 year old women's football teams competing on a Neder-Over-Heembeek football pitch. The match itself looked more like a butcher's shop than an ode to fair play. The Brussels team received its counterparts from Schaerbeek.
Following the interruption of the match, a fight broke out between the staff of the teams and the supporters of that day. Once this was over, members of the Schaerbeek staff, players and their families went to the ERU Brugmann-Paul Brien emergency room in Schaerbeek, to take care of the damage caused during and after the "bloody" match this Saturday.
►► The two gangs found themselves in emergencies: a particularly violent scene for patients.
►► One of the individuals involved in the scuffle took out a firearm … in the middle of an emergency
