The provincial authorities of Hainaut said Wednesday that some axes and strategic points of circulation were still blocked by the actions of demonstrators in yellow vest. In Charleroi, a dozen demonstrators marked their presence on Wednesday morning, access to the Ministry of Finance. In Couillet, six or seven vehicles blocked the roundabout of Europe in the morning. In Jemappes, near Mons, about twenty protesters blocked access to a Shell service station. In La Louvière, 5 demonstrators blocked with pallets, in the morning, access to the Ministry of Finance.
The Jeumont border crossing on the N54 was disrupted by a filtering barrier: about ten demonstrators were blocking the trucks for about two hours.
Other more sporadic and smaller actions were also carried out in a few other places in Hainaut, provincial authorities also said.
