The French Blood Establishment launches national emergency campaign for donations

[ad_1]

There is no blood. However, the mobilization of donors has not been sufficient to date given the heat and news related to the World Cup football.
Today, the EFS launches an emergency appeal and urges donors to move mbadively from donated homes and mobile collections to donate their blood and thus guarantee a satisfactory level of blood products to cover the needs of patients throughout the summer

30,000 donations are expected in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur-Corsica region until the end of summer

The EFS reminds that blood donations must be regular and constant because the life of blood products is short (5 days for platelets, 42 days for red blood cells). No product can substitute for the blood of volunteer donors. That's why donor mobilization is essential every day and must be mbadive by the end of July. Every gift counts.

During the holidays, giving blood can save lives! The message is simple: we need your mobilization on our summer collections or our donation houses to help us reach our goals and to treat the sick of our region.
