It had already been decided since September 20th. Yesterday, the Walloon Region, via the Board of Directors of the OTW (Transport Operator of Wallonia), has officially designated the Tram'Ardent consortium to build the future tram of Liege and its facilities, about 50 hectares of quality public spaces along its route, also incorporating corridors dedicated to cyclists.
Without prejudging a possible appeal of the competitor ousted, the Walloon government should ratify the contract by the end of the year, the final step before the start of the project.
