We knew the whitening of the anus, here is the whitening of the vulva.
Society seems to impose more dictates on women's appearance and "politically correct". While many of them ignore this social pressure by appearing armpits or unpeeling legs, others push the limits by choosing to be whiten the bads.
It is indeed not abnormal that the vulva, which includes small and large lips, the entrance of the bad and the clitoris is a darker color than the rest of the body. No, it's not abnormal. And yet, the whitening of this intimate part seems to have more and more success, according to Refinery29.
There were already lightening creams. Influencer Huda Katten, who created "Huda Beauty", her own cosmetics brand, has also promoted and demonstrated it. The fad now exceeds any understanding since nowadays there are laser treatments to make the vulva clear. Many British clinics offer "intimate part laundering" for 500 pounds for a 10-minute session, with the promise of a quick recovery without scars.
Experts warn
Dr. Vanessa Mackay, a gynecologist and spokesperson for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in England, strongly discourages women from doing this kind of treatment. "This could damage the delicate skin of the vulva and disrupt the fragile balance of the good bacteria inside the bad. This natural flora helps to protect the bad and disturb it could cause irritation, inflammation and infections, such as bacterial vaginosis or fungal infections"she says.
Although this technique has recently appeared in Europe, particularly in England, it is more common in countries in the Middle East and the Far East, as Dr. Anne Henderson says. In January, the Thai Ministry of Health had issued a warning against such treatments.
