More than 300 weather-related interventions in Brussels

About 180 gust-wind interventions were still on Sunday at 8 pm, about 20 were under way and about 130 had already been carried out, said Walter Derieuw, firefighter spokesman for Brussels. This badessment extends from 8am to 8pm. Most of the interventions concern the fall of tiles and trees. Walter Derieuw counted about sixty trees in the list of interventions of the day.

One person, affected by an umbrella on Jamar Boulevard, was very slightly injured. A firefighter also received a large tree branch on his head during an intervention that took place on Avenue Chazal in Schaerbeek. He was taken to the hospital for examination. He was wearing his helmet at the time of the incident and did not lose consciousness at any time.
