You can get complete lists of everything related to streaming services, wherever you are. But half of these titles do not interest you and the other half is terrible. Where are the good things? io9 is here to help you.

Below you will find what we consider to be the best sci-fi and fantasy movies and TV series to be released in Netflix, Amazon and Hulu in June.

Netflix

Available June 1st

A.I. Artificial Intelligence – The completion by Steven Spielberg of the vision of the late Stanley Kubrick remains one of Spielberg's most underrated films.

Batman begins and The black Knight – Have you ever seen that? I have heard that they are very good. Oddly, no Dark Knight Rises although.

Carrie – The adaptation in 1976 of Stephen King's first novel by Brian De Palma is still the horror of high school at its best.

The space between us – Here is a movie that is not as good as it should be, but not half bad. This is a boy born in the space that comes next to Earth to meet the girl he loves.

Available June 5

Black Mirror: Season 5 – Should we say more? Discover more coverage here.

Available June 7

I am a motherA success at Sundance this year that was quickly swept by Netflix, this movie is about a girl raised by a robot after the apocalypse and who discovers that the robot may not tell the truth. We have not seen it yet, but we are looking forward to it.

Available June 11

Ralph breaks the Internet – The Wreck-It Ralph the movies are weird. They are both so good and yet I have the impression that no one ever talks about it. So, if you missed the sequel, which is pretty fun, here is your chance to make it on Netflix.

Available June 21st

Neon Genesis Evangelion, EVANGELION: DEATH (TRUE) ², and The end of the gospel – Get in the robot! One of the most influential animated series of all time and two related movies will finally be available for streaming, which will make them easily accessible to players as hard as newcomers.

Available June 26

Spider-Man: in the Spider-Verse – If you have not seen it yet, what are you doing? We named it our best movie of 2018! It's so good. You must see it now and watch it every day.

Oh Space Ballsyou adjust.

Amazon

Available June 30

An American werewolf in London – No major sci-fi movies have been released until the end of the month on Amazon, but there are some great ones – like this legendary movie about werewolves from 1981 that should have been loved by a new generation .

Minority report – Another underrated Steven Spielberg movie is streaming this month. This one is not as good as HAVE. in my opinion, but still a good mix of science fiction ideas, with a good dose of Tom Cruise action.

Mission: Impossible III – More Cruise, this time from a disciple of Spielberg, a young filmmaker named J.J. Abrams. It was his first feature film. I wonder if he has done anything since.

The wide and Open Water 2: Adrift – I like the super small, super intense The wide, the story of a couple stuck in an ocean infested with sharks. And although I have not seen the rest, I'm sure it's good to watch the original if you wish.

Sleepy hollow – If you can overcome the Johnny Depp-ness of everything, this adaptation of Tim Burton has great chills, chills and spills. Many of them come from a certain headless rider.

Space Balls – That's how well Space Balls is. It's the film that, in a way, helped keep Star wars afloat. Liberated right in this period where Star wars faded, a whole generation of children discovered a galaxy far, far away thanks to this hilarious and perfect parody of Mel Brooks.

Species, species III, and Species: Awakening – But no Species II. Odd. Anyway, I can not vouch for the third or fourth, but the first was one of my favorite children.

Thesilenceofthelambs – In our opinion, one of the greatest horror movies of all time and one of the few movies to have swept the four major Oscars. Enjoy it with beans and a good Chianti.

Spectrum – Every month, a film that excites me begins to be broadcast, especially because I loved this film when he was young and he has lost some time. Well, this month, this movie is Spectrum, who talks about a boy coming back from the dead with a magic car. Or something like that. In any case, I can not wait.

I love this shot in The day of independence.

Hulu

Available June 1st

The Burbs – Balancing goose bumps with the funny is a form of art and few people do it better than Joe Dante, who directed this classic 1980s movie with Tom Hanks and Carrie Fisher.

The peak of Dante Remember in 1997, when two volcano movies came out? One had Tommy Lee Jones and the other Pierce Brosnan. It is one of the two. (Do not worry, I can differentiate them completely.) Seriously.

Heart of dragon and Heart of Dragon: a new beginning– You say the words "Dennis Quaid" and "dragon" and we are here. Also, apparently, there was a sequel that was not really performed by Dennis Quaid or the theaters. But, now, the original and the sequel are on Hulu.

existenz Jude Law and Jennifer Jason Leigh play in David Cronenberg 's weird mix of video games and horror as well as in a bunch of other cool and disgusting stuff, because of David Cronenberg.

Friday the 13th, Friday the 13thth – Part II, Friday 13th – Part III, Friday 13th – Part Four: The last chapter, Friday the 13thth – Part V: A new start, Friday the 13thth – Part VI: Jason Lives, Friday the 13thth – Part VII: New blood, Friday the 13thth – Part VIII: Jason takes ManhattanOne to eight! All classics in their own right. And now, everything about Hulu.

Gift – Sam Raimi, Cate Blanchett, why have you never heard of this movie? Well, probably because it's only blah. But a film by Sam Raimi about a woman trying to solve a murder through the ESP? Come on, you know you want to check.

The day of independence – clever. Get this one on the streaming service before July. You know that everyone will watch it then. I usually do.

Impossible mission – It's fun to watch this Brian De Palma movie and imagine that it has seven sequels in the years that followed. Of course that's good, but this well? You just do not know.

The people against George Lucas – A little solid doc on Star wars which, in retrospect, also suggests "Yeah, I'll leave for $ 4 billion".

The secret of NIMH – This movie has definitely made its way to other streaming services, but now it's Hulu. And thinking about it will always remind me how scary it was as a child.

Available June 4th

District 9 – Neill Blomkamp's awesome social sci-fi action movie is always worth the detour: effects, weapons, smart stories, performances, as well as seeing what the filmmaker is capable of under the tutelage of such a murderous producer Peter Jackson. (Also on Amazon.)

Available June 5

The servant's tale: Season 3 first – For me, it's the highlight of the month. Kick Some Ass, June.
