President Biden made one of his most salient comments on Thursday since being sworn in when he told an Indo-American aerospace engineer that immigrants from the subcontinent were “invading” the United States.

Biden made the seemingly muffled effort to tone down the levity before telling the NASA group that diversity in the United States makes “every lonely crop” better.
The President said, “One of the reasons we are such an amazing country is that we are such a diverse country. We make the best of every lonely culture in the world, here in the United States of America, and we give people the opportunity to let their dreams come true ”.
Biden, 78, concluded his web remarks by describing himself as “like a poor relative … when I get invited, I introduce myself. “
“So be careful. You know the poor parents, they show up. They stay longer than they should. I’m one of that kind of guy,” he said.
As a presidential candidate last year, Biden struggled to cope with controversial remarks about ethnic minorities.

He said in August that black people are less diverse thinkers than Hispanics.
