Big Thief signs on 4AD for the new album "U.F.O.F", shares the title track, on tour

Grand thief have signed for 4AD and announced the follow-up of the excellent results of 2017 Capacity, who went out on Saddle Creek. Their new album is calling U.F.O.F., and it will be released on May 3 via their new home label (pre-order). They followed the live album with engineer Dom Monks at Bear Creek's "cabin-like" studio in a rural area of ​​western Washington, and the film was produced by Andrew Sarlo, who also worked on their previous albums.

The title song is out and adds a slight touch of pop to the indie band for which Big Thief is more famous. That's good, and you can hear it for yourself below. Complete tracklist below too.

Big Thief will also support the album with a full tour, including two concerts previously announced in New York at the next edition. Webster Hall on October 10th and 11th. Tickets for these shows put on sale Friday (3/1) at noon. An AmEx presale is underway and a Spotify presale starts Wednesday (2/27) at 10 am. All dates are listed below.

Adrianne Lenker, the singer of Big Thief, released her very good solo album abysskiss. Big Thief guitarist Buck Meek has also released an eponymous solo album and has just followed it last week with the new song "Halo Light". He will be touring with Jeff Tweedy starting Wednesday.
