Billionaire entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuban is investing in a non-fungible token (NFT) market.

In a new tweet, digital item trading platform Mintable reveals that the Shark Tank star is an official investor in their project.

Mintable’s Marketplace allows users to mint, buy, and sell several types of Ethereum (ETH) backed NFTs, including visual arts, music, videos, and games.

Cuban recently told CNBC that he believed the impact of NFT technology to be “real and permanent”.

“It’s like the early days of the Internet all over again. I think [NFTs are] is going to be huge.

NFT art continues to amaze those entering and leaving the industry, with many selling for exorbitant prices. However, Cuban believes that as the emerging market develops, prices will stabilize.

“… As more and more participants arrive [NFT] market, it will become more efficient and pricing will take hold. ”

Over the past few months, the billionaire investor has grown increasingly sympathetic to the crypto space, publicly showing his enthusiasm for the industry. The Cuban team of Dallas Mavericks NBA now accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), USD Coin (USDC), Paxos (PAX) and Binance USD (BUSD) as a payment method.

Details of Cuban’s partnership with Mintable were not disclosed, but the NFT Marketplace said they are preparing to reveal more information about their next startup investment round in the near future.

“We are very happy to have been supported by such a great and forward thinking businessman.

We’ll be announcing more about our seed cycle in the coming weeks, but we look forward to a great 2021 for NFT and Mintable! “
