Black Bomb: How invasive space-time was found hidden in the heart of the Milky Way | Science | New

A black hole is a region of space-time with a gravitational acceleration so strong that nothing can escape, not even light. These cosmic phenomena are said to be formed when massive stars collapse at the end of their life cycle. Then they can continue to grow by absorbing the mass of their environment, engulfing stars on their path and blending with other black holes.

A team of Japanese astronomers using the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) The telescope captured the details of a previously unknown structure located near the center of the Milky Way.

Their analysis of the movement determined that it was a black intermediate mass hole whose cloud was labeled HCN – 0.009-0.044.

Lead author of the study Shunya Takekawa wrote in March: "Detailed kinematic The analysis revealed that a huge mass, 30,000 times greater than that of the sun, was concentrated in a region much smaller than our solar system.

"This and the lack of object observed at this location strongly suggest a black hole of intermediate mass.

"By analyzing other abnormal clouds, we hope to expose other calm black holes."

The team's discovery suggests that many other similar black holes could be hidden around the center of the Milky Way.

Their theory suggests that intermediate-mass black holes could fuse and expand by swallowing surrounding materials to form supermassive black holes.

Co-author Tomoharu Oka added, "It is significant that this mid-mass black hole was discovered only 20 light-years away from the supermassive black hole at the galactic center.

"In the future, it will fall into the supermassive black hole, much like the gas is currently falling into it.

JUST IN: Theories revolve around the "discovery" of the black hole "physically impossible"

"So, your torso will stay alive for a little while, until you bleed to death, but everything happens much faster.

Both pieces then feel the tidal forces. They break in two and break again in eight, then 16.

"Finally, it's your head and several other parts."

Dr. Tyson then explained in detail how the human body would eventually become a continuous element of matter.

He added, "So, this will continue until you are a stream of atoms descending to the abyss."

"It's not the worst, because the web of space and time is moving towards a black hole.

"The space you occupy here is larger than the one you occupy here.

"So, in fact, when you stretch, you get squeezed, extruding through the fabric of space, like a toothpaste with the help of a tube."
