Back then – you know, four or five years ago – you knew Black Friday was coming when you started seeing Black Friday ad leaks. These were scanned, often grainy, PDF or JPEG advertisements from major retailers detailing their Black Friday sales. Intended for the Sunday newspaper just before Thanksgiving week, these would often tip the scales of the season’s biggest sales, with everything from $ 199 game console packages to $ 99 TVs.
Cut through 2020 and the scenery is a bit different. Retailers are now “shunning” flyers on their own sites and on their own schedules, to help them beat the hype of their vacation sales. And since we want you to get the best deals of the season, we’re collecting the PDFs and links to as many sales as possible, right here. We include links to the respective online stores, as well as CNET stories where we have highlighted our favorite offerings.
Walmart Black Friday 2020 offers
Walmart is having a series of three two-part sales by Thanksgiving.
- Black Friday Event 1 kicked off online at Walmart.com on November 4 at 7 p.m. ET.
- Additional offers became available on November 7 at 12 p.m. ET and in-store at 5 a.m. local time. Walmart is also holding its annual tire event in-store and online from November 7 to 13.
- Event 2 will begin online Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. ET and feature deals on electronics like TVs, computers and tablets, Walmart said. Additional offers will be available online November 14 at 12 p.m. ET and in-store at 5 a.m. local time.
- Event 3 kicks off online Nov 25 at 7 p.m. ET, with additional offers online Nov 27 (true Black Friday) at 12 p.m. ET and in-store at 5 a.m. local time.

Best Buy Black Friday 2020 Offers
Best Buy has revealed a solid list of offers that will begin on Sunday, November 22. The full ad analysis can be found below.
In the meantime, Best Buy is currently running a “Wish List Sale” that ends on Sunday, November 8.
