Black Ops Cold War ‘Die Maschine Easter Egg Guide, Tutorial & Steps

Call of Duty: Cold War Black Ops just released, but Zombie aficionados have already discovered the Die Maschine Easter Egg. In this guide, we will outline the steps required to complete the quest with visual help from some of the best Zombie players on the scene. Power and Pack-a-Punch

1. Much like all recent Zombies Easter Egg quests, this one requires you to turn on the power supply and Pack-a-Punch machines first. To access the power, follow the path to Yard> Omega Outpost> “Room”> Crash Site> Tunnel> Control Room> Medical Bay> Particle Accelerator and press the big red button to turn on the main power.
2. There is a kiosk on the left and right sides of the large particle accelerator room. Interact with the two and a portal will appear in the middle of the room. Interact with.
3. In the dark world, follow the waypoint to the Aether Tunnel. It is marked by a large purple circle on the ground. Interact with. You will fall into a room with a machine part that you can collect.
4. Go back to the portal location and you will see the outline of the Pack-a-Punch machine. Place the coin there and you’ll be teleported with the machine in use.

The Easter Egg Pitch Machine

1. Once Pack-a-Punch has been activated, a new portal will appear, marked on the minimap by a diamond icon with a star inside. Go through the portal.
2. Your next step is to find three parts of the Aetherscope which can appear in any order. One is near the stairs in the courtyard (spawn), another is at the top of the plane in the crash site, and a third is in the particle accelerator room near the fast travel point. From there you can leave the Dark World and build the Aetherscope on the bench near Pack-a-Punch.
3. Go to the following portal that appears on your map and search for an old computer in Medical Bay. You’ll see Dr. Vogal’s diary sitting there.
4. Three spectral anomalies (or ghosts) will appear as orbs. Interact with them to make them appear and give them the journal. One is near some shelves in the medical bay, the other is in the control room testing area, and a third is near the bench you used to craft the Aetherscope.
5. In the normal world, return to the Medical Bay computer and interact with it to enter the password.

How to get the Shockwave DIE and its upgrades

1. Kill one of the green Megaton zombies and the pair of enemies it splits into. Pick up the Keycard deposited by one of them.
2. Bring the map to the Big Machine in the Weapons Lab near the Mystery Box. You will get the DIE remote control in return.
3. Go to “Living Room” and head to the hole in the wall that has “PL” in graffiti written below.
4. This turns on the machine. Get up to 30 zombie kills to fill it with souls. Once you’ve done that, head back into the hole to release the weapon.

Thermophasic (fire)

1. If you’ve done everything so far, you should see a portal in the pond area. Go through.
2. At the crash site, melee the box under the hovering plane. This will add a cartridge to your inventory.
3. Quickly make your way to the Weapons Lab before your Aether expires and interact with the Plasma Cutter in front of the Perk Machine with the Large Skull on it.
4. Back in the real world, go to the pond and you’ll see the upgrade in the back of a truck.

Electrobolt (electric)

1. Start by going to the Particle Accelerator Room and enter the portal under Pack-a-Punch. For this task, you must suck the energy from three crystals using the left trigger attack of the DIE
2. There is one on the roof in “Room” near Stamin ‘Up. A second is to the right of the Mystery Box in the pond. The third is near the Crash Site cave.
3. After collecting each individual crystal, go to the ground floor of the Particle Accelerator and look for a box in the southwest corner. After turning, go for the next crystal and come back. Do it three times and the Electrobolt is yours.

Cryo-transmitter (ice)

1. In the “Penthouse” area, there is a box by the pond. Shoot with the DIE
2. Go down to the area of ​​the pond where the box falls and an empty flask will be in its place.
3. Wait for a Megaton to appear and lure it towards the purple bulge of the mutated mushroom that appears on a tree near you in Crash Site. Have the Megaton shoot mud on the tree.
4. Interact with the mutated fungus to “collect cryogenic liquid”. Wait at least 30 seconds, and you will come back to the vial to find it is full and listed as a full vial.
5. Near the gate between Medical Bay and Particle Accelerator, you will find a box with chains. Interact with it and the upgrade is complete.

Nova 5

1. Go to the “Mezzanine” area and look at the overhang from the second floor of Nacht. You will see a little bottle that you can suck with the DIE
2. In the Weapons Lab near the Deadshot Perk, you’ll find a cleaning unit machine to the west. Now kill a nearby Plaguehound dog. Pick up the emerging Plaguehound gas.

Easter Egg Part 2

1. To go back to the main stages of Easter Egg, go to the huge Tube in Medical Bay and shoot each of its nozzles with a corresponding item taken from the fully upgraded DIE
2. A portal appears between Medical Bay and Particle Accelerator. Go inside.
3. In Medical Bay, near the Speed ​​Cola perk, you’ll find another ghost scene. Activate it and a Dark Aether Key will appear when you exit the portal.
4. Turnkey, go to the tank in the yard and use the tool four times on the vehicle in the designated places.
5. Throw a frag grenade into the hole in the tank. If done right, the tank will smoke.
6. At the Crash Site near Stamin Up, you will see a large circular object. Pick it up and bring it to Medical Bay where you picked up the key. You will not be able to fire your guns while doing this.
7. Next, divide a Megaton in half and lead the duo to the object you just dropped.
8. Finally, all players must interact with the computer in Medical Bay.
9. A huge swarm of zombies will arrive as soon as the cutscene ends, so get out as quickly as possible.
10. At this point, do whatever you need to prepare for the boss. Get some good guns and have some points to spare for buying ammo.
11. Go to “Living room”, enter the portal and interact with the specter at the Omega outpost. He’ll talk to you and leave the Orlov family photo behind. When you pick it up, the boss fight begins.

Boss fight

1. To fight the boss, just protect him from three incredibly difficult zombie phases. Cooperate with your team and make good use of the Electrobolt.
