Black Ops Cold War Zombies Include Dancing Easter Egg From Coffin

[ad_1]

Call of Duty: Cold War Black Ops finally released this weekend, and as expected, it’s full of little Easter eggs. This includes the game’s Zombies mode, which perhaps has more than its fair share. In one case, a little disco dance party breaks out among the zombies, and there appears to be a reference to the “coffin dance” meme made popular earlier this year.

If you are unfamiliar, the “coffin dance” or “the coffin bearer dance” became popular earlier this year when paired with electronic dance music. The videos that toured and were remixed endlessly featured a group of Ghanaian porters dancing while carrying a coffin. As you can see below, there are several zombies in the video that dance the same way, although the EDM has been replaced with a disco to be more period appropriate.

As to how to trigger that Easter Egg, there’s apparently a need to shoot five blue orbs around the Pack-a-Punch machine in Zombies. Once done, the disco party starts. According to PCGamesN, however, the match continues around all of this, so be careful when trying to find it on your own.

Call of Duty: Cold War Black Ops is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC – and that includes the aforementioned Zombies mode. You can check out all of our previous covers of the latest and greatest Call of Duty title here.
