Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band went on stage at the DTE Energy Music Theater on Thursday night, the first of six two-week shows.
Seger is in the middle of his Roll Me Away tour, a farewell release that continues to add nationwide performances and is scheduled for the month of October.
At the end of DTE's tour on June 21, the Michigan rocker will have played 33 concerts in 47 years in the amphitheater, known for a long time as the Pine Knob.
