Do not worry, this 360 degree infinity pool above a skyscraper will have an exit

Well, this is going to be a scary sight.

A 360-degree infinity pool has been planned for a skyscraper called Infinity London in London, and designers say it's the only building in the world to own one.

The ambitious concept comes from Compass Pools, which seeks to build the 600,000-liter molded acrylic pool, rather than glass, above the 55-story building.

OK, looking at the pictures, you're probably wondering how you could enter (or go out). According to the design team, a spiral staircase, similar to the door of a submarine, will emerge from the bottom of the pool. That's all the detail we have for the moment, so it remains to see the practical details of this project.

Part of the bottom of the pool will be transparent so that swimmers can look from the top (and vice versa).

"Architects often come to us to design rooftop infinity pools, but we seldom have a say in building design because the pool is usually an afterthought," said Alex Kemsley, Designer of Compass Pools. .

"But as part of this project, we actually started with the design of the pool and basically said," How can we place a building under it? "

The top five floors of the building should become a hotel. The pool is therefore intended for customers.

Other interesting features include an integrated wind speed monitor, which is connected to a system that ensures that the pool stays at the correct temperature and that water is not blown from the top of the building.

If the plan materializes, the designers say that the skyscraper could start construction as early as 2020, the location of the remaining building to be confirmed.
