Boston firefighters fight fire at 8-story Chinatown building – Boston News, Weather, Sports

BOSTON (WHDH) – Firefighters have been called in to put out a fire that started Monday night at a building in Boston’s Chinatown.

Teams that responded to the scene on Kneeland Street around 7:30 p.m. sounded a second alarm when they learned that multiple floors of the eight-story steam plant building were involved, according to a post on the department’s Twitter page.

The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.

The cause remains under investigation.

Companies were able to quickly extinguish the fire. There have been no injuries to report and the Boston Fire Investigation Unit is on site to determine the cause of the fire. Companies make up pic.twitter.com/Z5VmSubtdL
