BOSTON (AP) – Good news, slice of the country: the Boston Pizza Festival is back.
The 3rd annual festival began at noon on Saturday at City Hall Square and continues on Sunday. The organizers say they are expecting more than 15,000 people to taste slices of more than 30 pizzerias.
The pizzas from all over New England and up to Italy will be consumed. Entertainment shows, pizza making demonstrations, Jersey Pizza Boys' pizza acrobatics and a children's pizza pizzas are also on offer.
Co-directors Giancarlo Natale and Raffaele Scalzi said they had selected the Italian sellers, both from Naples, to give the festival a European touch.
The festival was launched in 2017.
