Nairobi – Retired Kenyan Humphrey Kayange has been appointed Chef de Mission of the Kenya Team for the 2018 African Youth Games to be held in Algiers, Algeria, from 18 to July 28th.

NOCK launched training sites with the Moi International Sports Center in Kasarani, ice hockey at City Park Stadium having theirs at Strathmore, Tennis at the Club of Nairobi while swimmers will train in Mombasa
The Games, organized under the auspices of ANOCA, target athletes aged 14 to 18 years.
The first edition was held in Morocco in 2010 and the second in Botswana in 2014.
The African Youth Games are oriented towards the development of Youth in Africa, inculcate the Olympic values among athletes and act as Qua lifesavers for a number of disciplines at the Youth Olympic Games, which will be held later this year in Argentina.
The African Youth Games will bring together disciplines open to all African countries
