The position of the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) in the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) coalition is expected to set the tone for tomorrow's party conference (Sunday) to be officially opened in Bobonong

Isaac Lepang of Palapye constituency said that they wanted to know if they would go to the 2019 elections or not. "We do not know yet whether next year we will go to elections under the CDU or not.We are clueless and we must urgently know our position."
Samuel Montsho de Nata Gweta shared the same sentiments: "Time is running out, we need to know our position and this conference is the right platform".
However, the party spokesman, Ditlhapelo Keorapetse, also confirmed that they expected the members to deliberate on the issue of UIC and give the party direction.
