Police clashed with fans during dramatic scenes in Paris as World Cup celebrations broke out across the country.
Two people were killed elsewhere in the country while party-goers celebrated France's first victory since 1998.

Some of the worst scenes of violence were in central Paris, where the Champs-Elysees remained closed in the early hours of Monday after riots and looting.
A 50-year-old French fan would be dead after breaking his neck throwing himself into a cbad in the alpine town of Annecy at the end of the 4-2 team's triumph over Croatia in Moscow Sunday, according to the Mirror.
Another man in his thirties also died, when he crashed his car into a tree in Sant Felix while he reportedly celebrated the victory.

A police source in Paris said: "Riots erupted shortly after midnight as large crowds refused to disperse.

The Publicis Pharmacy near the Arc de Triomphe was ransacked. The windows were broken and the police officers who intervened were attacked. There were scenes of absolute chaos that ruined the party. "
