Ed Sheeran lives in Suffolk near Framlingham, his hometown

Ed Sheeran was allowed to keep two ad posters without permission at home.

The singer, who has already had contact with the planners of the East Suffolk Council, has placed the framed boards of oak in a barn located in his estate near Framlingham.

He was forced to seek approval for signs bearing the inscription "The Lancaster Lock", following a complaint.

The board agreed that the additions did not cause "any harm" and approved its retrospective application.

The Sheeran Barn – renown in honor of her partner Cherry Lancaster Seaborn – sits next to her Grade 2 farm.

Board documents show that planners were prompted to act on posters after receiving an "execution complaint".

They discovered that the planks were not illuminated, would not affect the neighboring properties and were not "easily visible from the outside of the enclosed grounds".

A spokeswoman for the council said: "It was decided that the signs would not affect the character and appearance of the curling, listed building, nor the enclosed adjacent building."

This is not the first time that Sheeran's big intentions are being reviewed by the board.

His plans to marry Mrs. Seaborn at a home ceremony were wiped out by the rejection of her request to build a private chapel on her estate.

And in March of this year, questions were raised about the use of his pond for wildlife, when he feared it was a swimming pool.

But an investigation by the council revealed that there was no sign of violation of the planning conditions.
