Events leading up to St. Pete Pride Parade and Festival

One of the country's biggest pride events will take place from 19 to 23 June in St. Petersburg.

Last year, more than 200,000 people gathered in St. Petersburg for the annual St. Pride Pride Festival and parade along the city center. So many, if not more, are expected at this year's festivities starting June 19th.

From festivals and parades to festivals, here are all the ways to celebrate pride in St. Petersburg.

Launch party of St. Pete Pride
The free event from 7pm to 10pm on June 19th is at Sirata Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach. Better yet, Sirata has just completed a $ 15 million renovation on 13 acres.

Parade of St. Pete
The party begins at 2 pm with the parade that began around 7:15 pm On June 22, thousands of people will wear rainbow colors, beads, sequins and costumes to celebrate the pride of the LGBTQ. The parade begins at North Straub Park and heads south, almost to Albert Whitted Park.

TransPride March
Just before the Pride Parade, a TransPride Walk will follow the same path to celebrate all transgender and gender non-conforming people. Participation is free and the first 1,000 registrants receive a TransPride March t-shirt at check-in.

The parade is from 18:30 to 19:00 22 June.

St. Pete Pride Festival
Tens of thousands of people will flock to the Greater St. Petersburg District for shows, community kiosks, art and local food. Outside drinks and alcohol will not be allowed, but water and other drinks will be sold at the festival.

The festival is from 11h to 17h. June 23rd.
