DEMO Africa has selected four South African and Cameroonian start-ups to participate in its launch in Morocco next October at DEMO Africa 2018. The four have been selected following more organized pitches. early this month in Cape Town and Douala.

Dikorah and MooExams – emerged as winners at the Douala event. A total of 18 start-ups participated in the Cape Town and Douala events that took place on July 5th.

Zuoix is ​​a computer security company that helps customers stay safe by planning and fighting cyberattacks. Dikorah has an event management application that helps users organize events based on their budget and location.

Start up Edtech MooExams has developed an e-learning platform that allows users to access a condensed course directory. In addition, users can also use the platform to interact with teachers.

The four startups will now compete with other regional startups for an opportunity to present at DEMO Africa 2018 in Morocco between October 18th and 19th

with two other South African startups, Loyal1 and GetHosted, alongside Zimbabwean start-up SMART Connect, as well as the eventual winner of the Botswana event to represent Southern Africa in Morocco

Zuoix, Dikorah and MooExams will also be available to represent Central Africa at DEMO Africa 2018.

Successful startups in each region will be automatically qualified to be part of the group of 30 start-ups who will be present on the dashboard of DEMO Africa October 18 and 19 in Morocco

Selected companies will receive resources worth over $ 150,000, including tools from Microsoft and Amazon Web Services to help founders urs in construction
