Mark-Paul Gosselaar took part in ABC comedy "Mixed-ish".
"Mixed-ish", a derivative of "Black-ish", focuses on the experience of Rainbow Johnson, the character of Tracee Ellis Ross, who grew up in a Métis family in the 1980s. Gosselaar will play the role of Bow's father, succeeding Anders Holm, who played the role in the initial pilot.
This is the fourth time the Gosselaar television series has played the leading role in recent years. He has recently appeared in the television series "The Pbadage" and "Pitch", as well as in the NBC comedy "Truth Be Told". He is also known for his roles in "Franklin & Bash", "NYPD Blue" and "Saved by the Gong."
It is taken over by WME, Luber Roklin Entertainment and Jackoway Tyerman.
Gosselaar joins a cast that includes Arica Himmel in Bow Johnson, Tika Sumpter in Alicia Johnson, Christina Anthony in Denise, Mykal-Michelle Harris in Santamonica Johnson and Ethan Childress in Johan Johnson. The series will mark the second show derived from the "Black-ish" universe after "Grown-ish" recently renewed for a third season at Freeform.
Peter Saji and Kenya Barris play the role of writer and executive producer alongside Ellis Ross, Randall Winston, Brian Dobbins for Artists First, Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland for Cinema Gypsy and Anthony Anderson. This series is produced by ABC Studios.
