With the next update of the Android version, users can now avoid sending photos to the wrong person. In previous releases, many Whatsapp users had requested updates due to an increase in the number of incorrect photo submissions. Whatsapp users will be able to view their profile photos and names before sending photos.

One of the features that reacted in Whatsapp was the ability to automatically save photos. This feature has been disabled with recent updates. If you want to prevent all Whatsappt photos from being saved in your phone's gallery, disable the "Save incoming media" option in the Whatsapp settings. In some Android versions, this feature also appears as "Automatic download".
