The who-is-who in African sports and beyond arrived in Asaba, Delta State for the 21st African Senior Athletics Championships starting on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by the 2018 media and advertising officer, Olukayode Thomas, Maria Mutola and other world sports personalities

were due to arrive in Asaba last night.

Mutola was a former African and World Champion in the 800m and was nicknamed "Mutola Express"

IAAF President, Sebastian Coe, and the 11 best officials in the world. World Organization of Athletics are expected in Asaba last night.

The other sports legends expected in Asaba also include Nawal El
