South Africa has the most
brilliant young maths on the continent, with a high school student from Somerset West crowned "Queen of Mathematics in Africa" ​​at the 26th Pan African Mathematics Olympiad (Pamo).

The award is indisputable after six boffin maths from SA high schools represented the country at Pamo in Nairobi, Kenya, triumphing over their peers from eight countries.
