Police, following a thorough search, arrested a man suspected of murdering a woman whose headless body was found in the bush in Tlokweng.
The suspect, Simon Kgowe, 30, of Mochudi's boyfriend allegedly killed the suspect, would have beheaded him before throwing the body to Tlokweng
The headless body of the woman was found in a pool of blood thrown into the bush in the Maratanang Hall Monday morning by a pbaderby.
The police managed to identify the deceased from Lerala and informed his family.
A team of plainclothes police attacked this afternoon the house rented by the suspect at the location of Block 3 of Gaborone arrested the suspect, much to the chagrin of his neighbors.
During the raid, the police found bloody clothes, a mop and sheets in one of the bedrooms
After one of the shocked neighbors who preferred not to be named for fear of victimization, the suspect has always been violent towards the deceased.
He said that Kgowe was still physically abusing his girlfriend who remained in Block 7 of Gaborone and that she had received a big scar on the face of the shots.
When asked to comment, the Director of Criminal Intelligence, Detective Deputy Commissioner Nunu Lesetedi, was hesitant to detail as he said the case was still fresh and that they were just started interviewing the suspect.
