Speculation on billionaire Alisher Usmanov has signed a new contract with Everton.

During the summer, the rumor spread that the majority shareholder of billionaire Farues Tuesday, the friend of the Blues, was looking to invest in the club Goodison Park.

And this idea surfaced again over the weekend when a company led by Usmanov – MegaFon – was advertising electronic fences during Saturday's game against Cardiff City.

The Russian telecommunications giant belongs to Usmanov, but the Liverpool Echo reported that the advertisement did not result from a new agreement, but was part of an existing rights agreement with USM Holdings.

Usmanov is one of USM's major shareholders, alongside Moshiri and Vladimir Skoch, and the company has signed a five-year naming rights agreement in January 2017 at the Everton training complex in Halewood, which will be renamed USM Finch Farm.

The agreement also included a set of global marketing rights, a media background presence, player access and LED advertising on Goodison match days.

MegaFon is one of USM's portfolio activities.

Usmanov is regularly badociated with new investments at Everton and, earlier this year, after selling his stake in Arsenal, he said he would "consider" an agreement with the Blues.
