NEW YORK (AP) – Major League Baseball is demanding prizes for its first games in Britain.
The London Olympic Stadium premium spots will cost £ 495 (£ 385) for the New York Yankees and World Series champion Boston Red Sox on June 29 and 30.
Seating at the outer corners ranges from 270 ($ 346) to 220 pounds ($ 282), according to a chart on the Ticketmaster website. Those behind the field fences weigh 120 pounds ($ 154).
Tickets in the second bridge cost 270, 170 ($ 218), 145 ($ 186), 120, 80 ($ 102), 45 ($ 58) and 30 pounds ($ 38).
A presale for season ticket holders of the Yankees and Red Sox starts Friday and a presale for those who have pre-registered begins Monday. The date of general sale is December 6th.
