Brad Marchand decided to salute Jesper Bratt in the second period of the Boston Bruins’ game against the New Jersey Devils at TD Garden on Tuesday.
Marchand hit Dmitri Kulikov who didn’t like Bratt well, so he took it in hand and went right after the Bruins winger.
The Merchant of 5 feet 9 inches quickly dragged Bratt on the ice with a slamming body. Both players were sent into the box for two minutes to be brutalized.

Marchand came out of the box and immediately scored to reduce the Bruins’ deficit to 3-2.
The Devils are looking for their fifth win over the Bruins this season.
