The Los Angeles Lakers maintained the level of their competitions Friday night, but they eventually beat the Milwaukee Bucks (131-120) against 131-120.
The Bucks extended their road winning streak to 10 games and earned a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Lakers were in a position to win an impressive victory despite an unfortunate start to the match for Rajon Rondo.
While Rondo entered the evening with 40 percent points in his career, he missed five shots from three consecutive points. The Lakers built a double-digit lead to squander it in the third quarter. The Bucks race complicated things as Giannis Antetokounmpo was on the bench.
L.A reacted to regain the advantage and spent a good part of the fourth quarter facing the Bucks. Two Lakers players, who only have eight players in the game, played an important role in the Bucks in an 8-0 mini-run and took control of the game within two minutes of the end.
