This is Braden’s first rise on the practice squad. It will provide much needed depth to an offensive line missing center Josh Myers (finger). In addition, Elgton Jenkins (ankle) was not allowed to play and Dennis Kelly is suffering from an illness. Both are questionable to play on Sunday. Braden can play guard and tackle, and he could be a top guard substitute if the Packers use Lucas Patrick in the middle instead of Myers. It’s also possible that his elevation means the Packers didn’t expect Jenkins to play on Sunday. Braden will return to the practice squad on Monday.
