BREWSTER CO. – The Brewster County Sheriff's Office and US border patrol agents conducted an operation that recovered more than half a tonne of marijuana.
Authorities said they found a sport utility vehicle on Highway 90; the driver could not be found, but his wallet was still in the vehicle.
MPs searched the vehicle and found more than 1,100 pounds. marijuana.
The sheriff's office says he'd like to return the wallet to the driver.
MPs posted on Facebook "weed like to talk".
The investigation is ongoing.
