Gabby Petito’s parents demand that Brian Laundrie surrender and insist that he is hiding somewhere and living off the land – despite blaming him for being a “coward” for refusing to tell them about their life. girl.

Laundrie, the only person of interest in Petito’s case, is the subject of a massive FBI hunt after he went missing just days before his girlfriend was found dead on September 19 in Wyoming.
When asked if they think Laundrie is hiding somewhere, Petito’s parents were adamant.
They said they didn’t believe Laundrie was so upset over their daughter’s disappearance that he would have committed suicide.
“He’s a coward,” his father, Joe Petito, said in a preview clip.
His mother, Nichole Schmidt, added that it was possible that he lived somewhere on earth because “I think he bragged about that stuff, that he was good at it.”
When asked if he had words for Laundrie, Petito’s stepfather Jim Schmidt replied, “See you.

Petito’s parents also criticized Laundrie’s parents for their handling of their daughter’s case and the disappearance of their own son.
They said they repeatedly called and texted Laundrie’s parents, Chris and Roberta, before reporting their daughter’s disappearance, but received no response.
Petito’s parents said they initially believed they were both missing – until police told them Laundrie had returned to Florida in the van they were traveling in.
“One of the texts was ‘I’m going to call the police, so let me know.’ No answer. A normal parent, when you text someone to tell them they’re going to call the cops because you can’t find your child, they’ll respond, ”Joe Petito said.
“We thought they were both missing at the time when we called them.”
Schmidt added, “We had no idea the van was in Florida when we contacted them. I was worried about them both.
“On the night of the 11th, when I reported her missing, a detective came to my door and let me know the van was in Florida.”
When asked if that was when she knew it was bad news, Schmidt replied, “Yes. “
“As a mom, I knew she was gone,” Schmidt said in part of the interview when discussing the discovery of Petito’s remains.
